I wanted a decent sub but didn’t want to tear the interior apart or have to take stuff out. Searched but found nothing so made my own.

Cut template out of cardboard to fit behind pass seat.

Cut wood to match and make a frame.

Cover rear of cab with foil.

I took some high strength magnets and placed them over fiberglass cloth. This did two things. Held the cloth into place and holds the box in place.

Place the wood frame in place and lay on the fiberglass resin.

A couple of layers later, pull the box out and finish adding glass.

    All done with glass.

    Add wood front.

In the truck. Fits right next to the jack and holds super tight with all the magnets. Now I can have bass and still have a stock interior.

I'm happy with the results. I can pull it out to get the jack out, it is out of the way, and I can bump down the street.

Looks sweet! Scared to do anything with fiberglass yet, I've been fine sticking to the mdf box i made

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
The magnets are a good idea, but if they are to close to the speaker they might distort the sound.

Did not think about that. It sounds fine so I guess it is a non issue.
I like using them because I can remove the box yet when it is in place it's not going anywhere.

They would have to be powerful magnets and pretty close i would think. If a magnet is strong enough and close enough to the back of the speaker it can prevent the speaker from working all together.
