Haha, I'm ditching the bed. Tubing the back half, keeping the bedsides, saved the ribbed section for what little bed space I may or may not end up with.

Is the 4 bolt Lower Ball Joint only 4wd? I haven't looked yet but if I get the 4 bolt one and my stock LBJ is the 2 bolt "L" shape one, how is the 4 bolt gonna work?

 

Scored a tool box for $75 on craigslist! Will be running it when I run the bed rack. Anyone ever paint their tool box? if so what did you use?

 

yeah I did with mine. I just did a flat black, home depo brand paint.
Only thing is that the black soaks up the sun like a mofo, and gets super hot.

Any significant power loss? Rubbing?

 

It's fine. Even if you hammer it back into position it will just move again when the suspension cycles. The ubolts will keep it from spinning further.

 

Did you primer first?

I'm runnin the same size. There is rubbing on the frame at lock. The power loss isn't noticed till you get to a hill on the interstate
