    Thanks.

Knocked off the gloss with red scotch bright and 320 grit. 3 coats of color and 3-4 coats of satin poly.

I've got 3000K CFLs. noticed a while ago that for the same K rating LEDs put out a whiter light than CFLs.

I do not like different LED temps either. The light does vary from manufacture to manufacture even with the same K rating.

I used Phillips LED's in my kitchen under cabinet lights. Link to site.

I used the Powercore product line. I stayed with the 2700K rating on two different Powercore products with no difference in the light color.

We've been using the Sylvania ULTRA LED dimmable MR20 and MR30 lamps at work and the 3000K is too blue , the 2800K lamps are a nice warm colour

    Fuck you.

I love the pendants. The convection oven had to go somewhere, and the new micro is also a convection so it goes away soon. The medicine bottle is for Cindy (she has been ill). Where do you keep your dish drainer and butter dish? The right side is actiually a giant pile of tools and various supplies for this project.

The wine glass is usually empty.

Nice color temp. It does not distort the color of fruits and veggies when illuminated by the LED's during food preparation.

The LED strips I have coming are 3000k. I hope they blend OK. If not, I can dim them a little to help out.

Switch. To. Gas. It will increase the value of your kitchen for anyone who actually enjoys cooking.

    Unless you enjoy eating out.

Every time I go to my folk's house and try to cook on electric, I want to kill them and everything else in a 5-mile radius.

Top takes forever to cool down , so it's hard to go from a high heat to simmer like for cooking rice

I am not comfortable cutting into the middle of the gas supply. I am going to get a plumber in to quote running the line for me. That will determine what we go with.

    IIRC a 26" 3 lamp fixture is ~$140

Naw I wouldn't be either. I cut into a utility-confirmed abandoned gas line outside when landscaping, and it still freaked me out. And it still had odor.

So it just needs to T off an existing line? Is there one nearby? Water heater?

She had a vacation for a week, and it was her assistant who seemed to not have it together, or they did not have a good handoff. She is back now and we will see her this morning to discuss. : |
