No, most would claim they own/work at an auto shop. But then they have to prove it. With all the thefts that have been happening they only take in one set of cats now and claim they just replaced their's. Even then they won't be paid for 3 days if it is over $100. Best bet is to mark your vin on your cats in a way that is not easily removable. Report the theft as soon as possible, the recycle yard is supposed to report any cats with vins to the police for cross reference, and when the crackheads show up to get their money they get arrested instead. You're still screwed, but at least justice is more likely to be served.

Right off of Associated, in between Bastanchury and Golden Hill(I think thats the street name).

The complex is pretty far back off the street, and there's huge trees blocking everything, you literally can not see it from and angle on the street, so someone deliberately walked in and saw it to break in. Possibly someone in the complex...who knows.

 

Of course, no glass company is open on Sundays...the one that was couldn't get the glass in till today (wife has work today, we HAD to leave OC yesterday)...And of course, right when we get into San Diego County, it starts raining.

Guess who was driving...

 

PS Guys, wish me luck! Interviewed with Simplex Grinnell last week for an installer position, I'm 1 of 5 guys they are looking at for 3 positions, so I think I stand a pretty good chance here. They do Fire suppression systems commercially. As well as service and inspect any sort of fire suppression systems.

Should find out sometime this week!

 

Golden Hill? Maybe you meant Rolling Hills, near Craig Regional Park. I have family in Brea so I kinda know the area.

It's most likely a teenaged resident or one of their friends.
