Just bought it! It has a title so this is for reals!!!!

Alex, I wouldn't touch that bike with a 10' cattle prod unless you know and trust the owner. It's an old bike and I'd be willing to be it went down. The body panels all matching and missing a windshield scream that the body work was re-done (also check to see if it is at least the original color, if not, the panels were replaced or repainted which again, could point to it having been laid down). If you're still insistant on it, check it over really well and check for leaks, cracks in the frame (this might mean you'll need to remove some body panels) and make sure it revs smooth through the entire rev range. Sometimes if an owner adds an aftermarket exhaust and doesn't compensate on the intake side, the bike won't rev smooth and will hesitate along the rev range.

 

Guess you haven't seen what I've been looking at. I'm pretty sure you'd beg to ride it

 

I saw that you were looking at a new Ducati, was there another one since then?

 

I've got my mirror in my truck and everything. I'm gonna look it over thoroughly.

It was stolen 2 years ago but it looks pretty good. I don't care about scratches because its my first bike. I'm probably gonna drop it anyway at some point.

Stolen a bunch of broken stuff . I wouldn't even look at it . I know your on a tight budget but don't settle on the first cheap bike you can find . My 2cents . Good luck !

Whats your ideal budget I know some people with cafe's that may sell. bobbed sport bikes and such

 

Enduro is a good option for a beginner you are more upright and you'll laugh at insurance. You make more in 2 days than these things cost for a year. Much better on gas, less power balls loads or torque, ability to go anywhere and turns heads.
