No problem. Going to be interesting. Everything costs more in Canada. I am really hoping it is going to be under 5000.00. I will know tomorrow.

I was thinking arb bumper but I just can't do it. I know they are an awsome bumper but I just don't like the look of it.

close to 5k I would believe new bumper, new side-panel and flare, new grille, new headlight, maybe new hood, plus labor and paint. You will be able to get a new plate bumper. Cost of the OEM will be more than a plate bumper after parts, paint and labor.

    Don't sweat it. It happens.

Accident free for 22 years, then racked my '94 Toyota pickup, 2 years later, similar damage to my '03 Tundra, then almost 10 years later my '93 Blazer got rear-ended and totaled.

Just got back from the claim department.

5500-6000 damage. All being fixed with my 300 deductable. Could have got a ShrockWorks but the truck store called and it is a 3 to 5 month wait for the bumper.

If they were merging into your lane, it's 100% their fault, end of story. Yes, and damage going through insurance will be branded on the truck, shouldn't matter because you will never sell it, hehe.

Ain't that the great thing about Toyotas?
By the time you think it's time to replace it, you really don't care that you only get $3k in trade because any other vehicle wouldn't get you $2k with half the mileage :D

No. From OP's description, he was in the merge lane following another vehicle. The vehicle in front of him slowed down to merge into an opening in the main lane, and he didn't see it in time.
