the check engine light won't go off until you have cleared the codes on the ECU even if you have fixed whatever the problem is. Good luck! hope it is just something dumb :)

get a scan guage or ultra guage. clears codes and does so much more :D

Or they are pretty cheap just to get a code reader, i think. I think some auto stores might do it for you too. I have a scan gauge I can hook into the ECU but it is mounted in my truck and a pain in the ass to get out to hook up to another vehicle. :(

ya, everything is closed early because its Sunday. i'll have to get it read and deleted tomorrow. my wife isn't here, so i'll just steel her Jeep for the day tomorrow =D

so i think what blew my IG1 fuse was my 7-pin getting crushed. two of the pins were touching, so i think when i put on my brakes or something it popped it.

Same thing happened to me a couple years ago coming back down a trail in hatchers pass. This was before I knew about the shift over ride button. It was weird because I didn't go through any water or mud or anything extreme really. Just rocks. No brake or running lights. Just headlights.

How about instead of a dozen people driving 12 hours, one person does! Haha. I'm planning on doing a haul up there September time to lay down some moose and caribou, might pop in since I've never seen fairbanks

I've got tons of pics and videos, I'm on my phone right now or I would upload. As soon as I download all 2 gigs of video and pictures onto my laptop ill start uploading. Had a few stucks. I blew up my front left half shaft a mile down the road, broke all the 7 plug trailer lights on the 3 tacomas there dented the other 4runners tranny pan when he drove over a stump without seeing it. Had a moose showing off to us while we were getting the runner off the stump (I got a video of him driving on it ;) ran into a rolled rzr in the middle of the trail, couldn't get around it so we had to run back. Had a great trip! Lots of fun! Can't wait to do it again!

It was enjoyable. My computer is now struggling to condense an hour and a half of footage into ten minutes or so xD
