road rash will heal. if not it will leave scars. scars are cool, and pain only hurts for a minute. I have not been on a bike other then in a parking lot. but have crashed dirt bikes on the road(old neighborhood,) and got a little road rash.

 

Non-driving female turned left in front of me....my bike T-boned her Accord....I went over the car (luckily) & slid quite a ways on my back.

 

zach this "road rash only hurts a little and scars are cool" counter argument is not the best. Just sayin.

and when i got road rash and was bleed some, it did not hurt bad at all! went home put some hydrogen peroxide on it, and went back out side and got back on the dirt bike.

 

LOL pain hurts for about 15 minutes until the ambulance gets there and then the pain meds aree administered but guess what? Skin grafts are sometimes needed and also cleaning wounds like that, No pain med takes it away.

 

Regardless of full gear or not. Crap still happens and people still get killed. It doesn't matter if you have freakin kevlar on. If you get hit hard enough or dump it fast enough skins going to get ripped, bones, broken whatever. The gear is just going to keep it all your parts in there with you for the most part. If he doesn't want to wear gear there isn't a law that says he has to. As long as he has a helmet on who gives a rats turd. Nor do I care if the guy doing 90 on a wheelie beside me has on gear. I just make sure I am not the cause of his demise. Stop whining over what other people freakin do. End rant.

 

I guess gear is a must on a busa. Didnt some of them have a recall where they had runaway problems? Throttles would stick and you would have to throw it into N and blow your motor?

Yah but the dude doing 90 on the wheelie crashes and kills a ped, Makes you look bad and the riding community as a group. Its like the whole guns thing, a couple crazy ass people ruin it for the whole group of gun owners.
