One of the worst nights of my life, 1989, got off the submarine I was stationed on temporarily after being underway for about 80 days... always 65 and dry, tried to sleep in the barracks at 95% humid and about 85 degrees at night. I went back to the damn sub.

Dry heat, but my ideal temp is around 50F... I run way too warm blooded for this 100+ temp crap that's going on right now :(

I'll take Dry heat over Humid , no breeze and humidity' I can't keep looking like I've gone swimming.
With the Great Lakes so near Humidity runs high, also brings Tornado's warnings like today's storms !
radios telling people to take cover .
All week humidity has been 60 - 80 % then today panic

It helps for a little while but if you work in the humidity all day the excess sweat eventually washes it off.

I just asked my sister n law about this topic last week. She moved to Aizona a couple of years ago. I asked her whats worse her dry heat or the humid heat she said the dry heat is more tolerable and doesn't zap her energy like the humid heat does.

I spend 8 hours today crawling around the highlands of Quantico attempting to find random ass boxes in the middle of the forest. 90 degrees with nearly 95% humidity. Not what many people would call "Fun"

Of coarse humid heat is worse than dry WHEN the temps are equal. But let me know when any of the humid states get temps as high as us, then we can talk

According to your profile you live on the moon, "let me know when any of the humid states get as high as us..."

Temps being equal, I prefer dry. 100 degrees where I live is much more tolerable than 100 degrees in Pensacola Florida. That's just misery.
