    And you spew this why? :confused: I didn't realize you had so much experience driving both in all kinds of offroad conditions. :cool:

    Black Bear is very well documented, literally 100s od videos. By comparison, morrison has hardly ever had anyone on it. If morrison was as well documented as BB is, you would be skird shittless right now. :D

    I have experience with both..manual is more fun usually. But autos are super nice in their own ways. Idk which ill like more in the long run

    And exactly..after being to morriosn. I just think it'll be harder to drive.

    Well you keep coming here saying how badly you want to go but at the same time you keep saying how there is NOOOO way you could POSSIBLY get everything done. If that's the case then just don't go. If you really can't fit all into the next 30 days then that's your call. But for all of our sakes just make a call and stick to it. Better to weigh the pros and cons now then scramble to get it all worked out 3 days before the decision needs to be made.

    All fire restrictions for San Juan and surrounding counties have been lifted.

    BB has only 1 tight switchback, maybe 2 if you don't pay attention. The most technical spot is not even on the main trail. It's an optional chute about 75 yds long that plops you right back on the trail. It is obvious, about 200 yds before the summit. Look for a small gulley on the right with a waterfall at the end.

    You will get a kick out of the "4wd tour" trucks. Most are full size trucks with some sort of flat bed and rows of bench seats. They look like the Beverly Hillbillies truck.

    Yea. Didn't think there were that many bad corners. Morrison..pretty much every one is horrible. There are only 3-4 or so with space to back up all the way..ish on.

    And awesome!! :laugh: tour trucks. Bet they make a killing haha

    It's official fellas: I'm out. I hate to say it, I'm really sorry. I REALLY wanted to make it, but I can't. Even if I got enough done, I only have several days, and I need those to close up shop, say my goodbyes, hang out with and help my family, and etc.

    Monte has graciously agreed to help me with my valve cover gaskets and my long awaited surprise... and I might come to the Wed nite BBQ to meet some of you... It is MUCH easier for me, at this point, to get away for a few hours here and there, than 5-6 days as a block.

    Again, I'm REALLY sad that I can't make it - I really wanted to chop firewood for you all and take tons of photos of sick Toyotas in breathtaking scenery and lots of photo stops with Lisa...

    Sometimes I gotta do what I gotta do.
