My truck originally came from there, it was a trade between dealers, which is how it got to Antioch. I'm thinking that they might do you right because isn't it supposed to go through some kind of inspection before selling used? Plus isn't there some sort of 30 day warranty that comes with it even though it's not CPO?

I think with all used cars they come with at least a 30 day warranty. Even from "Slimy Joe's used car lot". You might want to look over the paperwork.

From what I've read, you should take it back immediately just in case and see what they say. Document any response you are given

    http://oag.ca.gov/consumers/general/lemon

Any delay on your part just reduces their responsibility and puts everything more on you.

Not saying the dealership you bought from will go this route. Just saying you should ask them quickly and save the responses you are given if they make you feel uncomfortable.

Mostly, but some of it applies to any vehicle sold by a dealer. The timeframe just gets shortened depending on the wording of the contract and length of time between sale and complaint.

Other laws (state and federal) can come in to play, but the timeframe and use always factor in if there is a legal issue. A lot of legalese comes in to play.

That is why I say ask sooner than waiting. Waiting, for the most part, tends to imply the buyer knew something was wrong and accepted the risk.

    Thanks!

They were taken in the Eastern Sierra, one of my favorite places to explore.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
X2 I'd send that to Evan at Tepui that would be a good shot for adds.

Ooh, how's the temperature there this time of year? I really love the desert but it's too hot right now, but that first picture looks a lot like Anza Borrego so it would make a great alternative to Anza if the weather is not as hot right now.
Also, how's the camping for that area? In Anza you can camp for free anywhere right off of the road, which makes camping super easy and you can get away from everyone.

I'm heading up to the Sierras in a couple weeks for some much needed backpacking. Absolutely my favorite place to get away from it all. Just a backpack, my dog and a fishing pole and I'll be content for weeks!!

Sounds like a sweet deal, I need to get out backpacking this summer... Since you're going alone, though, no repeats of 127 hours!

Haha I'll be meeting some friends up at Hungry Packer Lake. Hopefully I'll have no repeats of last year where the bears showed up. Surprisingly they are extremely timid.

Disappointed in my dog, I noticed before she did. I mean if it was a squirrel the whole darn mountain would have known!

Nice! Looks like a beautiful lake.
We had a bear go through my family's camp once. Our dog went a little crazy but we were able to get a hold of him before he went after it.
Our dogs will stay up all night keeping watch for the first night out on a trip but then they crash for all the rest of the trip, it's pretty funny. And oh yeah, they go after squirrels like no other. It's always interesting seeing/hearing them hit their dog packs on trees and rocks as they're chasing. :p
