Thanks guys I ordered the lift today and I'm still gonna look around to see what else I can come up with to put this thing on the last resort will be to pay for a plane ticket for Chris4x4 to come out here and put this on I figure 300$ for the plane ride 200$ spending money for the weekend and I still save 220 bucks. Seems like a win win to me.

That's the best idea I've heard all day! Plus you get to have your truck fondled by Chris. That's gotta be worth at least another $100. ;)

Take lots of before/during/after installation pictures.

So I’m bringing life to an old thread.

I just installed my lift in my driveway. Been driving around and seems “okay”. Had an alinement and it pretty sure they did a shit job, so I need another one. Did anyone figure out a reputable shop in the NY area that can take a look at my lift, make sure I did everything right, and do a great alinement?

Have a little faith in yourself!
I wish I could help you with that. A reputable guy I knew in NJ closed up shop, which is not helping ...
But, I'm interested in what did ya do, what did you install, what are your lift numbers and alignment results.
After my lift, I did my alignment in a shop on Hylan Blvd in Staten Island, they did exactly what I wanted. I will have to see them soon, cause I'm pretty sure I knocked it out of alignment over the winter.

Edit. NJBS thread is frequently visited by people with knowledge, and LI thread as well. I something, you might want to post your questions over there

    It's getting there.
My alignment shop, Olsens in Avenel NJ, kinda specializes in lifted trucks. He might bitch about toyota's adjustment bolts having a tendency to seize up, but he'll put in in a really nice spec for under 100 bucks.

I’ve decided that I’m gonna get new Lower control arms, steering rack bushings, and rotors before I do another alinement, basically an entirely new front end with everything else I’ve already done. Just waiting for the bushings at this point. I’ve heard the firestone shop in Brooklyn does a good alinement job so I’ll check them out.
