    Well, the reason I'm asking is because I already have Camburg Ball Joint UCA's and don't really want to purchase Uni-Ball UCA's if i don't have to.

    Just make sure the shock fully extends before the balljoint..or run limit straps

    Do as you please, he's just saying balljoints are prone to breaking if they are forced to articulate too far. Therefore, strap it short of that point. He's not talking about cv's or shocks.
