I guess just the ones who know what is recommended by the manufacturer for proper life and operation of any given product. Anything else is just misinformation until otherwise proven.

    A.....nd ?
If factory setup was correct people would not be replacing their bearings at 30k miles. People with larger tires went through replacement, also people in more wet environments. Actually if factory setup was any good we would not be having this conversation at all. Large number of people is not realizing their bearings are garbage and just spent money on alignments.
When i got my Tacoma bearings they came with little to no grease. ( I am guessing that's how they are setup in factory too) And.... they had come with White lithium grease which is suited for door lacks, hinges lubricant and ... as packing grease because its dirt cheap. So what you saying to me White Lithium grease is way to go on 5000 lb truck that supposed be able to travel through terrain including getting its wheels wet. Right.
Toyota asks $800+ to replace one bearing for parts that cost about $150. I am guessing there is no will to make those bearings last.

Listen, all BS aside, I'm not saying you have to pack em, but I do think the grease they come in is shitty and could stand to be replaced, and they do come apart, rather easy, no forcing needed.

You could start by reading the FSM, 30-55 through 30-63. That section makes no mention of adding grease or packing the sealed bearing.

If that were true, eveyone would be replacing front wheel bearings before 30k miles, all lifted trucks. I know plenty of trucks that are wheeled hard and still have the OEM front bearings. Plenty that have been through water crossings.

$800 for one front bearing? That sucks and is way over book time. Should be less then $500 if your correct on the cost of the bearing ($150). The only difficult part is removing the race from the hub.

Its real simple if you can see the balls add a little grease if you can't then don't.

If you just go to the auto shop store they have a tube labeled high temperature wheel bearing grease that should do.

If its a trailer with out breaks then use a water resistant type.

Not sure about everyone but I would say A lot of people had to replace their wheel bearings so far. As of matter of fact Wheel Bearing failure, frame rust, , vibrating front differential, exploding third differential and Throw out bearing are most common problems in that order.

$800 for front wheel bearing is standard price posted here, if you don't believe me, do search.

EDIT: and so far problems with our trucks are related to bad factory setups.
Wheel Bearing - fault - Lithium grease not filled properly. lack of interval for adjusting CVnut(4wd)/adjusting nut (2wd prerruner)
Frame Rust - fault - bad frame painting job, holes in the frame where wheels push water inside the frame (last one got fixed by Toyota by installing 90cent plastic plugs)
Vibrating front differential - fault - Cheap bad design of carrier that has too much play to begin with but wears out when truck is lifted.
Exploding Third in rear differential - fault- bad design, for large truck.
Bad throw out bearing in manual transmission - fault- bad design crappy materials.
