Thanks for the heads up. That's an easy drive to Colfax. I'm going to spend my four days in Denver drinking craft brews in my hotel room.

So far I have Ska Brewing Modus Hoperandi and Avery Brewing Maharaja IPA on my list for purchase. Hope Bevmo carries either.

Bought it. It's nice having the background checks back down to 30 mins.

I can't imagine they are different since they are just like little squares sticking out lol but never know.

You ain't lying. At 15-20% ABV it's got a bit of a nip to it. The first time I had it was the first time we went to Washington D.C. to stay with my cousin. Being that he's Marines Special Forces he's very knowledgeable on his beers and quite the connoisseur. We were drinking beers when he hits me with 'Hey, you gotta try this stuff' and breaks out a bottle and pours it into a couple of frosties. He warned me that it was a sipping beer to I took heed of his advice. I was hooked from first taste and couldn't wait to get some when I got back home. Well, about the time we got back to Colorado was the same time 'American Brewery' debuted on the Discovery channel and almost overnight you couldn't get ANY Dogfish Head Ale brews to include the 120min IPA. At the time they only made it once per year and even ruined the batch a couple of years ago. Since then they've started making a few batches per year since it's been so popular but it's still pretty rare to find in the wild and runs about $20 per bottle when you do find them.

When you get through that list head up to the Fort Collins/Loveland area for some more good brews.

I saw that in the other thread. Congratulations!

Thanks! I really want this stock:

I used to see them all the time for sale in stores around here until I actually go and buy one lol but I'll try and find one to buy eventually. I just got a regular wooden stock since if anything ever goes down it will blend in better anyway.

I secretly want this one too lol

QFT, even if I'm biased. Bring a bike, and do the brewery tour, even.

I was gonna double what PS78 said about Ranger, and add in either Myrcenary or St Lupulin from Odells - interesting IPAs exploiting unique hop characteristics. And if nobody's said it, Deviant Dale's from Oskar Blues is worth a can. Maybe a mix-six is an option? :D

And congrats on the 10/22, Ice Horse - shoot straight!

Parry's pizza down south here is having a DFH tap takeover this sat and 120 min will be on tap!!! along with more of there funky brews which is what i enjoy most. Festina peche, aprihop are two of my favorites. I loved the show on discovery, wasnt it called Brew Masters though? with sam the owner of DFH pretty much being the host and traveling around to find funky yeast strains in the wild and then coming back to DFH to brew, such a great show!!!!
