What if the damn airbags went off when he went from the 199 to 0 MPH glitch? Not to smart, or if they f'd up and crashed into a tree by making the wheel jerk.

Also, they had to of installed a transponder or something that hooked into the ecu, so its not like they could do this to a random Prius.

Yeah, pretty sure they are wired into the car, if not directly, they have wired a transponder in like you said. I imagine they played around with it some to ensure the airbags wouldn't go or maybe they flat out removed the airbags when they removed the dash.

The wheel jerk thing was definitely sketchy though!!

Yeah this is why I quit messing with audis. Awesome engineering but sub par quality parts in very bad locations! Just not worth the effort to own one anymore.

Same could be said about just any modification one would not agree with. That tail gates a piece of art that someone spent time on. Its how someone felt at the time. I dont see it being weird that its his moms...none of us know the story on it. It could have been his dads truck, he died, then a few years down the line when they sold the truck she kept the tail gate...or maybe the mom just got wet dreams off her old truck.
One day, when im too messed up in life, i'll paint and airbrush a scene on the tail gate. Like it or not, it's how i'll express my life and the surroundings i'm in.
