    Yes. Less snow up on whipsaw and everywhere. Plus August is the best time if year for wheeling IMO. Not too cold and not too hot.

    Worst time of the year for me:pout: although I would bet you money you could move it to june or July and my AT would magically move to that date... or some school I have to go to would overlap it...

    I was asking because it would suck to drop $300 on passports and not be able to go... plus doesn't it take several months to get a passport?

    Snoqualmie pass (about 50 miles east of seattle) averages about 500 inches of snow each year. Its like 3600'. Its not how high you are that matters when the jetstream is aimed right at you for the majority of the winter.
