dude, seriously? 6k is NOTHIN'. around here, a popular peak to hike to is 8,123 feet high... you don't start hiking until about 5-6k feet.

For the passport it is $165 per person so double that and you have $330. I was just looking though and it looks like you can get a passport card for $55 per person and it will let you travel between the US, Canada, Mexico, the carribeans and bermuda by Land and Sea. To travel by air you have to have a passport book though.



I would judge mountains by their overall height not the elevation of their peak. You could have a peak on the Oregon coast at 3000' that is taller than a peak in Colorado at 8000' since the Oregon coast is at sea level and a lot of colorado is over 5000'.

Southeast Idaho is nothing but a huge pile of inactive volcanos.

 

I'm really exited for next week - my truck is hopefully gonna get some major TLC with Monte and maybe another buddy.

Yes i have. That picture is just a highway pass that gets about 10' of snow.

And i was making a point that the reason we need to do Whipsaw late in the year is because we get a lot of snow at 6000'

How much do you know about stock wiring? Haha

After installing those switchbacks yesterday it got me thinking

Would it be possible to cut and swap an 1156 bulb socket with a 4157nall and to use the parking light positive for the second power?

I have something coming that is going to make my front blinkers useless, and I'm thinking that making my corners switchbacks would make the light cleaner...

 

It was. Haha the sc is sooo nice to pass people. Especially on the road out of laurel where you get hardly nay room too.

They're LED lights that have two banks of LEDs on the bulb, one is amber and serves as the blinker while the other are (usually) white, and are always on until the blinker function is activated

Imagine the 2nd gen DRL but white when not blinking


I've never seen someone route switchbacks into the corner on a first gen as a blinker relocate

They need a blinker negative/positive w/resistors and a constant 12v power source to work right, so I was thinking about cutting the stock 1156 blinker socket off and using the pos/ground from there, and cutting the stock corner socket and using that as the constant power

But idk if I'm missing nuggets of information that wpuld make this a stupid idea haha
