    I wasn't a big fan of how the Icons are simply "bolt on". I stripped some bolts trying to install the slug adapter things... I didn't want to keep ordering parts and waiting. So I found a good deal on TC UCA's and decided I would switch to them. They Icon arms are great, I am just not a fan of the new slug adapter design. Maybe someone else will have better luck installing them? :notsure:

    Finished painting the trailgear rear bumper and installed it. Cleaned up the wiring and removed an old trailer harness adapter. I forgot that I even had it.

    I guess what I should have said is I don't like how tightening a bolt is what presses the adapter into the spindle. Maybe others install TCs this way also but I'd rather press in the TC slug adapter using a ball joint tool and slide the bolt through. The bolt on the Icon arms could not pull the adapter into place and kept stripping. It just really annoyed me.

    Pretty sure on 1st gen this is incorrect. How does the slug get into the spindle?

    What he's getting at, the ICON uses a bolt to press (or pull) the slug into the spindle. Not as easy as it sounds, trust me.

    Finally got all the old suspension out of my bed so I could measure the lift I got. Ended up with 3 1/2" up front and 4 1/2" out back. Rides very nicely so far, even with no shocks in the rear!
