PCSing to Kirtland AFB, what do I need to know

    The title says it all. Moving from Edwards aFB to Kirtland AFB. Anyone got any heads up info on the place. Base "need to knows," good eats, the "must go to" camping spots? I will say I am excited to be able to get some real gun toys!!!

    Rudy's BBQ is a great spot to stop at. Camping spots I'm not sure about but make sure you explore the Sandia Mountains.
    A Beautiful part of the country enjoy nice assignment
