    Chips are only one vehicle for ingesting salsa, I particularly enjoy it on scrambled eggs and on a grilled steak.

    k so this appears to be my yellowstone route

    Island Park, ID is an area called Big Springs
    You would turn off of Hwy 20 just south of Mack's Inn on Big Springs Loop Rd. That road will lead you right to the springs and eventually back to the highway - it just makes a big U. The springs have some of the clearest water you will ever see - pretty area.


    Artist Paintpots just before the Norris Junction. Short hike, maybe 3/4 mile total, but really cool area. Norris is cool too - or hot rather, the thermals there are the hottest in the park - Porcelain basin doesn't take too long to walk through.


    At Canyon junction take right/south at the 4 way stop and then take a left on the north rim drive, its a one way drive so you'll end up back at canyon junction eventually. The first parking area that you get to on north rim stop there and take the "brink of lower falls" trail.


    Back at Canyon Junction head south again on the main park road and take the south rim drive. Stop at Uncle Toms Trail

    That's a good route. You'll miss most the lake. But you get to drive through Hayden valley..or Hardin I can't remember what it's call. Plus along the Yellowstone river which is fun. From Tim's trail just continue south till fishing bridge and turn right there. You'll go ver fishing bridge and the continue along the north end of the lake and go through sylvan pass on to the east gate. From there you'll drive out through Shoshone nat park along the north fork river all the way to cody wy then to Powell.
