    yea your lucky! i should have just stayed home and not spent $17 :(

    oh well, it was really fun though :thumbsup: and luckily it was only a 24 hr thing cause im feeling a lot better today

    yea idk whats been going on with me recently. I have gotten sick like 3 or 4 times in 2013 and i usually only get sick once or twice a year :notsure:

    maybe i need to take more vitamins

    Butt seriously, if you are running yourself down too much via training, one of the first signs is a weakened immune system and getting sick all the time.

    The actual reason I work with a trainer is to keep myself in check. With most clients she has to motivate them to try harder. With me, she has to hold me back and there are times she gets frustrated. Especially when I add plates when she isn't looking.

    Not everyone can be a beast like you, Tom! ;)

    You are right though, gotta take it easy occasionally so your body can recover and repair itself. Everyone is different, but many trainers will say to take a full week off every 10-12 weeks.

    It's not off-road, but the road the the ski area has some very nice views. There are 1 or 2 dirt roads leading off from it to the north, also.
