Pfff no need to have the woman on back. If I had one it would be for commuting and cruising on weekends.

 

no not for me at all but i do have to have some consideration for the girl on the back. She likes the 848 and hates the monster because its basically like hold the F on or you're road kill. I like naked bikes and naked women so thats why I'm all over the monster. The 848 is a dream to ride but having NO frame AT all throws me off and the front end feels like nothing is holding it down. And of course all the bike are already equip with termignoni pure sex

I bought the All Pros, I'm sure Toy Tech is comparable, no probs with mine yet but I haven't performed a HARD flex front or rear yet

So after pugga found that thread and i realized how much money i could save going with used springs for my shocks i started looking around...there is a good deal on some 13" 650lb icons, the guy is ready to ship them BUT i was hoping to find some 14" springs. Then i remembered about a baja guy who swapped his springs, you guys think these would work on my Icons?




From all the info i could find they are 3" ID, 14", 650lb eibachs so they should work, i think

 

Evan those are factory 5100s with Toyota springs

 

I think they are 9100s no? Im just interested in the springs though, and even though toyota sells them i think they are made by eibach

 

Maybe not, i have heard that from one or two people on here, but everywhere i look it just says its a TRD coil. Supposedly eibach used to sell a 14" 650lb but don't anymore.

 

They are 9100's and those are Eibach coils...

 

Yep "custom valved" 9100s. So now the only thing i need to know is if the coils have a linear spring rate. If they do then they should work perfectly on my icons, and they will be red and cool and say trd. And im ganna try to get them on the cheap.

Meh, I'd rather have them say Icon or King than TRD Have you considered going through Eibach directly? They are a spring company and might make the 14" 650# spring that will fit your shocks. Either that or call DSM, I'm sure they could get you a set of springs for around $150 - 175.
