Definitely a good idea to reinforce that I agree.

However I'd like to know why he thinks I winch so much.

Maybe.... I can remember two.. Me winching the jeep, and me winching myself in the snow. I haven't gotten a chance to winch 90 yet though.

a straight on winch on these trucks with out a tieback to the side of the frame will cause those bumper tabs to bend....

John with his Allpro Apex bumper already has bent bumper mounting plates and has only winched a couple times all being straight winching........

The demello bumper not having anything to secure the mouts to the side of the frame, Id be willing to be your mounting brackets are bent out

HELL i didnt even have issues with mine until recently, Just hit the bumper hard on a rock at Moab and than the bumper had a ton of flex, its yet another small over sight on the bumper designs

My mounts could be bent yes. I've had to winch pretty hard when I've had to winch. I get stuck good  winching down a ledge on cliffhanger was fun. That was easy though. Anyway, I'll probably fab something to keep the bumper held on the sides. This was mentioned to me before I even had the bumper. Like with skids...more beef can't hurt!

Great build thread and NICE pics!!

Also want to say thanks for answering all my questions (back in July 2012) about your All-Pro LT and steering me away from it. I ended going with a Camburg kit and don't regret it.
