What's the difference between a rooster and your mom?
    A rooster says, "cockadoodledoo".
    Your mom says, "anycockledoo"

Day 7 since breaking the juice fast check-in:

    Starting Weight: 290.8
    Current Weight: 268.8
    Previous Weight: 269.4
    Lost since yesterday: 0.6
    Total Weight lost: 22.0
    Most Weight lost: 23.4
    Lowest Weight: 267.4
    Gained since fast: 1.4

Lost just over another half pound which was good since I met a buddy at Dickey's yesterday for lunch. I must say though that the meal I ate was substantially different than it would have been before the fast. My two sides were the potatoes & green beans, nothing fried. I only had like two bites of the potatoes and some of the green beans. I didn't eat the bread which was difficult since the bread they include is incredible. I also had non-sweat tea with a splash of sweet in it and normally I would get full sweat tea and the non-sweat tea tasted like crap before. This time it was just fine. I used probably half of the BBQ sauce that I would normally use and when it was all over I resisted temptation to have some of the free ice cream they offer. I was stuffed with less meat than I normally eat too. So, like I said, not one of the most sensible meals I could have eaten but I knew this would happen from time to time and I was smart about how I went about it and that's better than how I handled things before. If I can keep losing a half a pound per day eating like this I would be more than happy. It's not the few pounds per day I was getting with the juice fast but I'm also eating again and eating things I enjoy eating so this is a path I'm happy to keep up. I didn't exercise too much yesterday so I imagine that trend should continue when I'm able to add in even more exercise since it's been a couple of days since I exercised. I'm now only 1.4lbs away from my lowest weight while I was on the juice fast.

Congrats man. It feels great to see results. I have been on the lift strong program for about 3 months and can't believe the difference. I went from flabby 270 to pretty cut 217. So much stronger it is ridiculous. I dead lifted 150 percent of my body weight the other day. Biggest battle for me was the diet change. It's funny cause now things I would have destroyed 6 months ago make me sick to look at or smell.
I'm at the dealership right now having jace work on my truck but after that it is off to the gym.

Down about 15 now... been juicing for 2 meals / day, just eating dinner since I last posted about it. Cheat some days when I'm lazy and get the Odwalla crap - not the real deal, sugary, but better than burgers and chipotle and crap.

I ate bad for dinner twice last week, half a large papa johns pizza Friday and chinese food a couple nights ago, but it doesn't seem to stick

been using high prtoein low carb style diet. Lots of fruits and vegetables. I like the 2 cheat meals a week too cause it gives me some freedom. Its funny, i can't believe how much hungrier I am now than when I was fat. I eat about 5 to 7 times a day and each time I am usually ravenous. When I grill with the wife I have started cooking at least 2 chicken breasts or steaks for me, or i get so hungry around 9 or 10 that my night snack just wont cut it.

Burgers aren't bad so long as you don't get cheese and don't eat the bread. The patty and the toppings aren't all that bad though. The pizza though, yeah.. I'd stay away from that. That's pretty much everything that's bad for you in a single dish. Even Chipotle isn't the worst thing ever depending on what you order and how much of it you eat. Chinese food is another one that isn't bad depending on what and how much of it you're eating.

I've decided to go the way of juicing 2x/day and eating dinner. I'm beyond ready to get more exercise & activity involved in my days. I may incorporate a true juice fast next week for about 5 days.

I'm about to hit the 15lb loss mark since I started healthier eating. I'm very happy with the route I'm taking...almost 100% raw eating and/or juicing every day. The last 2 nights I had a grilled veggie chicken patty for dinner with raw veggies. I've officially been a vegetarian/vegan for 18 days without really intending to. I yo-yo'd about a pound this week but I figured out why and it's nothing I have control over -- eating habits didn't cause it.

Ost - have you had problems with the Big Mouth spitting crap out of the tiny little vent on the backside of the lid? I took a small bath in kale bits yesterday morning - first time I had that happen since I got it.
