Here is the thing, and this is of course based on what I HAVE worked on in the past (I admit to not having a ton of experience with the Tacoma clusters of new, but I have worked a LOT with BUS communication systems, and the different protocols with many other manufacturers who use the same) I would maybe agree with it a little on a theorectical standpoint if when you replaced the cluster you ALSO were able to reprogram all of the other onboard computers to allow for communication. This is assuming that you could actually FIND said software, or someone with the know how to sift through the millions of lines of code to find the right place to put it. So yeah, THEORETICALLY you might get it to work, but I think the required things to be done to MAKE it work would be cost prohibitive. Welcome of course to get a 2012 cluster and try.

And they got rid of the shortbed and gave it a trunk. the new DC Trunk OR now also comes standard with a cheesy acoustic, a sweeeet pair of Asics, and a cute little suitcase.[IMG]

Damn it. I've always wanted a truck with a trunk. I knew I should have waited. :(
