One can never have too many light bars.

You should have gotten $1000 for the college grad. My dealer at first said it was only $500 but the toyota national website said it was $1000. Once I told them this they gave me the $1000. They said it changes all the time so the dealer may not have been as updated as it should have.

DCSB PreRunner 2.7 with SR5 package MSRP's for $25,535 including delivery, processing & handling fees. Wth does Texas Edition include that is worth 5k?

Anyway, good job for getting it for 22k. Enjoy your truck!

2013 AC 2.7 4x4 5 spd in Spruce Green for $24,450. Dealer says delivery in 6-9 weeks, but I think it will take longer and be a '14, not a '13, since it was ordered July 17. :turtleride:

I am looking to purchase a 2013 Sport dual cab 4x4 automatic with tow pkg and mats MSRP $32,575, the best price I have right now is $29,360 does not include doc fee, MA sls tax, & title. Does this see like a good deal? Should I keep looking?

Picked up a Black 2013 DCSB, Auto, TRD Off-Road Package for $29,875 before Taxes, fees, etc...

Dealer knocked it down 3 grand from MSRP originally, so I couldnt get him to budge much, but I couldnt find a better deal anywhere else so I took it.

No trade in. College grad discount brought it down to $28,875

How do college grads afford new cars, don't they have all the college loans to repay?

The discount lasts up to 2 years after graduation. I graduated may of 12' and got a pretty nice job a few months after, so I was able to save a little $$. Still paying off college, but whatever...I wanted the truck lol.

New guy here. I'm on the hunt for a new truck. I hope I'm not breaking a rule by posting this, but I found this yesterday. Almost seems too good to be true. $1k less than a True Car price.

    http://www.robertstoyota.com/2013-Toyota-Tacoma-V6-Columbia-TN/vd/15494441

'13 DCSB, TRD Sport, Tow Package. MSRP: $32,545. Their price: $29,945 + tax/title/reg.

If it wasn't silver I'd be on my way there today.

I was in the market about a week ago (just got my 13 DCSB TRD OR this past Saturday)

You can get a sport for less than that if you ask me. Seems most dealers are beginning to slash prices on a few trucks to start making room for the 2014's. I got a local dealer down to 29000 for a Sport, but I ended up grabbing the off-road package for 29,875.

It's not a bad price at all...but you should be able to get that number down, especially in silver.

Truecar is starting point at best. I paid almost $1500 less than Edmunds true market price

The best TrueCar price around here on the truck I just posted is $30,886. Best price I've found so far is $30,900 (MSRP $32,575) on a metallic gray. I consider myself the type to drive a pretty hard bargain, but I can't get the folks around here to budge much - regardless of whether I'm haggling by phone or whether I show up ready to buy.

I went and got a 2013 TRD OR/Access Cab/V6/Auto in Pyrite Mica for 29,650 before tax/title/registration. Then they sent me a check when I received my plates for $140. It didn't say for what though. It took me a while to track down that exact color and package. They had white and silver all day but the Pyrite Mica took a little bit of hunting, even for the dealers since there were not any in my region.

Interestingly enough, the price I purchased at wasn't the lowest I was able to negotiate to. I had a dealer offering it at 29,200 if they found one, but I just didn't like dealing with them so I took my money elsewhere.

Just finished negotiating, 13' V6 DCSB Sport, Towpkg, Spruce Mica, Mats, MSRP $32,575 for $30,100 before tax/title/reg in MA. They came up $700 on my trade because "they did not want Toyota to see them selling any lower". I was told that dealer invoice on this truck is $30,775. At $675 below invoice, I was figuring that this just about ate up their 2% holdback. I had 2-3 quotes at ~$29.4K before tax/title/reg but I got the feeling they were either going to bait and switch or give me less on the trade so I went with the dealer with the best reputation in the area (and 3 miles from my house).

maybe truecar is a little more accurate than Edmunds. Markets may be different too. I think Texas is more of a full size market. I see a lot of Tacomas but gut tells me that it might be a little more of a buyers market here.
