Thanks! Photoshopping is a lot cheaper than the mods I'm itching to do...

I will see if I really need to cut them and will if I need to, especially since it will be at least a year before I get the Expo's, so I could always get new U-bolts then.

Avoid the tcase shield. Go for the skid. Calgaryrider hit his shield in a sumall rock garden, and it ripped the bolts out of the transfer case, bringing pieces of the transfer case with it. He had 2-3 big holes in his tcase. We unbolted the pieces and siliconed them back into their place. Will runs that tcase I believe. But avoiding that would be great if you have the chance!

Thanks for the advice. How did you like the AP skid that allows for the exhaust crossover before you changed it?

For what it's worth I just ordered all three skids from pelfrey and i asked for the transfer skid to be flat cuz im gonna just reroute that double walled section of low hanging pipe up. I'll let you know how it goes :) I want to rid my underside of that dirty dangler for good!

Are you going to do it yourself? I have no welding experience/equipment so I can't do it, but I may end up trying to get a quote from my local shop.

I am also thinking about just getting the ATO set of IFS, Transmission, and T-Case skids in the future just so they all fit together nicely. It's a bummer since I already have the AP IFS, but I can always sell it. I mainly just got it because the price and weight difference from the ATO so I could at least have a decent IFS skid for a year or two until I upgrade.

If you want to upgrade to the ato skid let me know. I would maybe trade you for yours plus a little cash. Mine is the 1/4" (beef as hell) version.
I won't be doing anymore offroading after september I don't think (not that I get to do it much anyway lol)

Gotcha. I'll probably call and see what my local shop wants for it.

Hmm...I may have to take you up on that. PM inbound...

U-BOLT FLIP KIT, SUPERBUMPS, EXTENDED BRAKE LINES

Installed the AP U-Bolt Flip Kit, front and rear SuperBumps, along with front and rear extended brake lines with the help of Skygear today. The U-Bolts are a little long, but I think they will be fine with how much the SuperBumps will compress. I don't even think I can flex my suspension enough to get it to that point anyway.

I also took off my grille Toyota letters, moved the lightbar up, and removed the Plasti-Dip on the "beadlock" rings on my wheels. I was also just wanting a change with my wheels and am still debating taking the Plasti-Dip on the center caps to take them back to stock completely.

I'm thinking of painting my grille letters white to re-create the old-school Toyota emblem, but I may just keep with the clean grille look.

Looking good matt. Did you notice a difference with the braided stainless brake lines?

Not anything significant. :notsure: I was actually surprised when I jacked the truck up and had everything at full droop, my front needed the extended lines more than the rear. The rear actually had maybe another 3/4'' to pull tight, but I needed the front and rear anyway.

Whatchu think about me painting the grille letters white (to match old school Toyota look) and taking the derp off the center caps? I can't decide.

The white letters would make them stand out more so maybe a bit more unique on the road. Not that it aint unique already lol.

Maybe find one of the old school toyota t emblems and paint that white for a different look?

I had bought one of these, but I gave it to my brother for his SW when I got the BAMF letters.

I think I know which T you're talking about, but I may just try the white letters first. I might also just pull off the derp on the center caps tomorrow to see if I like it. I will be going to HD to get the white paint/clear coat anyway, so I'll pick up some more Plasti-Dip in case I like the center caps black.

Oh and by the way, I found my brother's old stock antenna that I had trimmed a little bit. It is probably about 2/3rd's of the normal stock height if you wanted to use it to check your dash cam problem.

Thanks! I intentionally tried to hit some potholes and speed bumps on the way home but unfortunately nothing that hit the bumps. I will try and find something to stuff the suspension soon and see how it goes.

Damn weird design to me having the bolt and bump separate so that the allen key doesn't even fit with the LCA being there. We had to take apart a multi-allen tool to even start the bolt, then twisted the eye on the allen with a screwdriver to finish it. We assumed that Wheeler's must just not integrate the bolt and the bump together so that is easier to sell for multiple vehicles with posible differences.

Yea, i used a socket allen and an extension :D worked perfect.

Yea you wont really even feel the contact with the bumps, it just sort of stops compressing. Love them!
