Is this kid worth fighting? I think he pushed my limits too far.

the thing that alway pissed me off the most when i was your age was people stereotyping me as a "stupid teenager". i was a big athlete, captain of the lacrosse team and the cross country team. mix that with years of martial arts, and i 1) know what pain feels like, and 2) know how to fight....ironically enough, everything that taught me to fight, also taught me self control, resulting in me never having to fight anyone.

it sounds like you have a great love for your family, and that your heart is in the right place, but when you talking about fighting this other guy, both of you become the "stupid teenagers" that i couldn't and still can't stand for creating the stereotype.

things will work out better if you go to the police and exercise self control. i used self control every day, and now i'm in college, with a plan, and i have my 07 (baught it new) completely paid off.

later in my life, i don't want an employer to deny me a good, enjoyable, highpaying job because he sees that i have a police record. i know you're young and have a lot going on, but so do i, i'm only 20. it's all about how you look at things.

oh and by the way, i'm going to sound like your mom saying this, but watch your language. i know it's acceptable around your friends, but to people older than you (aka, the important ones: police, boss, teachers) you just look like an idiot who can't think of anything better to say.

it's long, but i hope it helps, i've had many friends go down the wrong path, i hope this keeps you on the right one.

Ya man for sure dont fight him. If you already got in trouble for it once, the second time is gonna be worse. Plus like everyone is saying 1. Be the bigger man, he is trying to use your temper against you ( know from experience) and if you do anything first your f'ed. 2. Its not gonna help your mom out at all, she will just start stressing a lot more and it will be creating more of an issue for you. 3. Your 16, you know how many more girls you're gonna meet?
