    OK , now that derp-a-thon has calmed down , I present this question to those that firmly believe that the Earth is warming / climate changing as part of a natural cycle .

    Even if the warming / climate change is part of a natural cycle , does the government not have a duty to study and respond to the projected results of said warming / changing climate ?

    For instance rainfall pattern changes resulting in changing agricultural output or sea level rise resulting in flood pattern changes etc ?
