I was at the dealer yesterday pricing a 13 TRD Off Road and I asked him about the 2014s. He told me that there would be no redesign for 2014, only minor changes.

they seem to be sticking with the minor changes very 3 years, and a new design every 10 years plan, and i bet they'll stick with it until they stop selling as many tacos.

I have a source at Toyota that says the Next Taco will be pulled by 2 horses of your choice. No Turbo Diesel but it will have a Sunroof and Pooper Scooper Standard.

I heard they were goin to implement a technology that's been out quite some time now, where u simply pull the truck back a few feet and it spoils up a tensioning devise and when u release it it goes forward like 20 fold the distance u pull it back. no motor or tranny at all.

I think the major redesign will come around december 2014, Stating it will come out sometime in 2015. Im sure Scion will show something as well and i wouldnt be surprised if Ford or Chevy or even dodge attempts to design a mid-size truck.

There is a big ranch (forgot the name) in Texas (kinda close to Midland) where Toyota tests its' new stuff ... :D

My buddy goes there and sees weird stuff from time to time ...

He saw the redesigned 2007 Tundra there long before the spy shots were on the web ... :)

Went to 3 different dealers asking about the 2014 Tacoma, got 3 different storys. Told the last saleman himself and the other 2 should go to work for the Obama administration.

Toyota officially released the 2014 Tacoma changes on 9/3/13 so we can close out these 2014 rumor threads. Of course that doesn't mean you couldn't start making 2015 rumor threads instead. ;)

Someone should start a thread about what cars or trucks resemble animals. I still don't see the catfish resemblance though. Upside down catfish maybe?
