Looks like that's the name of the game anymore!
I hang around a gas station at night. Watch a guy smoke, buy chips, sodas, candy, and spend money on lottery tickets. He ran out of unemployment after two yrs. He wasn't called back to his job, but the place is hiring????
He needs a tire for his motorcycle, borrowed money to buy his mom a mothers day present, owes $1,200 on his vehicle which also needs some work, and borrows money from one of the guys so he can get enough gas to get to the doctor.
He could have the vehicle pd. for, and have some money stashed, IF HE DIDN'T PISS MOST OF IT AWAY ON SCRATCHOFF LOTTERY TICKETS!
Oh, by the way, he's about 42 and lives at home with mom, so he really don't have too many bills.
Our saying is "you made your bed, now lie in it" !
This guy is about 6'5 and 500 lb., with a bad sore on his leg.
Any bets as to where he's heading?

No one taught him budgeting or mommy kept bailing him out, so he never learned responsibility. :notsure:

Dam lawn was so hi after all the rain I had to mow it twice and use the sweeper.
Need to fix the plant boxes. After the hot and cold of the seasons the bottoms have pulled away. Not a big job. Think ill just wait a little and do it when the sun goes down behind the trees and the bugs settle down from being run over all morning. Hehehehhe

YEA, he just got some type of health plan that has VERY small co-pays, and no monthly premium. I think it includes dental. He said it's way better than the plan he had when he was working.
    That's what it's getting to-WHY WORK!!!

Is he planning on his Mom checking out soon and getting a large inheritance??

We have a slug(being nice) that is employed by my employer. He misses more time then he is there. When he is there, his work is below par and if it is a job that requires any exertion he goes home because he is in a "boat load of pain". He was in a minor accident in a company van(hit a woman backing out of her driveway without looking) and has been on light duty for 6 weeks with knee and back pain:confused:!! The damage wasn't enough to even deploy the airbag. He is in his 40's, obese, married with a daughter and he is living in a house. I have no idea how he is doing it because his wife is just as bad at missing time as he is... :facepalm:Are we doing something wrong???
