I'm sure there is info all over this forum and I have been searching. But it's much easier to ask a pro and get all the answers at once. What do I need to do to my taco to fit the wider tires?

would like to go 285/70 or 75

    Thanks!

Not too much really... probably just some scrub on the frame and plastic shit.

With no lift you will need to trim cut and beat the shit out of a few things

Kinda depends on the rim offset and if your street driving or off roading.

Street needs just a mild trim of the plastic fender near the cab mount
Off road needs just a tad more unless you remove the sway bar

I have about 6" lift up front with 285's and no mud flaps, they still rub.
