Why does everyone have a huge boner for Diesel?

We bought a VW fucknuts

 

VW truck is sex. VW other.. only for Canadians and lesbians.

 

the VW truck looks a lot like the taco in a way.

bed side looks kinda like the DCSB, has more of a square fender well unlike most with more of a round fender well. the lines on the doors kinda look the same. and the lines where the door/hood windshield and front corner panel meet looks pretty close to the same as well. the bumper/grill head lights look a lot different from the taco.

 

She's probably going to get a TDI next time , she was kinda unsure about whether she wanted a hatchback , wagon or SUV like the Tiguan but she definitely needed a reliable rig to replace what she was driving so we picked this car up , been great and now she can take her time and decide what she wants

 

have fun waiting on her to make up her mind on what she wants next!

 

That's the best part , she can take as long as she wants

Is there a limit on threads pertaining to Diesel's or any other subject on this forum? I must have missed that somewhere in the rules while joining. I guess for some individuals it's just easier to be a smarta$$ instead of answering a question. I thought we went over this recently that if you couldn't respond appropriately to just move on, but NOOOOO some just can't refuse being a total D!CK. My 2cents, oh...and go ahead D!CKS & respond as to how your in the right & I'm in the wrong here for defending the OP.

You agreeing with the op isn't a right or wrong issue. Hell I even + repped him for posing a thoughtful question. New things come up from time to time.
In a fairness, there is no 1 answer or exact way to explain the diesel issue with so many differing life experiences with them.
Some have none, some from work, some from the street level tuning. Perhaps the OP overstated us having a boner for them, that doesn't matter, doubt he meant ill, maybe he will see why they can be so useful and we could or ought to have more options in this area where US is grossly stagnant.

I agree & was simply pointing out that telling someone to SEARCH while being a total a$$ about it is unnecessary. If you tell someone that they might find answers to their question in the search POLITELY is a whole different story, it's not required to be rude about it to get your point across but some individuals on here fail to realize that. This SIMPLE fact has been pointed out many times yet some fail to GET IT.

 

I don't need to provide anything, the post is fairly new & those guilty of it know who they are plain & simple. Minding your own business works very well too.
