Bw s256 turbo with 3 in glass pack dumped pre axle raptor liner bed and top rails and fenderflares and rocker panels. Hunter side steps. Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
My biggest issue is keeping the drool off of it from other people that see it in the parking lot. and also about a month ago I started noticing a shudder before hitting over drive it doesn't do it if I drive in 4 then shift to d so I think my solenoid is bout shot but with with 173k+ miles on a 9 year old truck. also replaced the non greaseable u joints with greaseable ones when they went out but I think after 12 they all got greasable ones and 4x4 always had them.

Haha! I opened up my wallet to do just that and a freakin' moth flew out. Great truck! No whistle, no squeaks, no vibrations, no chirp, no squeal, no money...

Must be better gasoline, or no ethanol in it? I am lucky to get 18 mpg on the highway and only once got over 19 on Mexican gasoline.

What really kills my mileage is all the stop and goes with cross town, residential driving... 15 mpg. Now, I do have a more accurate speedometer than new trucks that read fast. So, it is equal to 16 mpg on stock tires.

The more highway miles the higher my MPG will be per tank... 16.5-17.5 for mixed hwy. and city. It is just a condition caused by too much government in our gasoline. Less pure gasoline, less mileage/ more fuel burned. How that can be good is beyond me?! Adding Ethanol (corn) to gasoline is not helpful to food costs, either!

I managed 18.5 miles / US gallon on my last tank of 1/2 highway / 1/2 rural driving with ethanol free 91 , and that's with my lift , commercial cap and E rated 275's

I would love to buy ethanol free gas... The closest I know to San Diego County is in Mexico, and that is 50 miles away from my home, and an avg. 2 hour border wait to come back.. so kind of ruins the advantage!

Non-tsb springs sag like a mother****er! Suck if your going to do any kind of towing.

I have TSB springs, and they suck just as badly as the non.

Not at all happy with the weakass rear springs (3-leaf). It's fine for using the vehicle as a car; it's a disaster when trying to carry a serious load. I'm combing the boards here to find someone here in San Diego who can upgrade them - without turning my truck into a bone-rattling daily ride of misery.

Other than that, this is a seriously nice truck.

You can always do this if your wanting to tow and carry more but, are not really interested in wheeling. Pretty easy, DIY.

If this is all we've got to complain about, we should be partying.

This is part of the beauty of part-time 4WD. It weights less than AWD, and 2WD mode is honest-to-god 2WD instead of 80/20.

Still torn on what to do with my leafs. I tow some small stuff, and have a topper + lots of gear in the back, but I also enjoy wheelin'. Tempted to just wait a while and kvetch to the dealer if my springs go inverted before the warranty is up.

If we're complaining about the little stuff though, here's my two beans; rear axle clatters when I go over bumps, and steering wheel rattles in its races when I'm wheelin' at speed. Let's be real though, so long as nothing is breaking- it's a truck. It wasn't meant to sound like a Lexus.

My 2013 Sport is flawless except that the front door panels make this noise around 45-60 mph that drives me nuts. a very slight rattle. It's on my to do list for this weekend to fix.

I think my low speed hard exceleration vibration and the driver side seat creaking may be taken of soon. Since a lack of redesign will not take care of these problems I may soon trade for a Frontier. I drove one and checked it out and it is a nice truck. I am beginning to think they are about a equal to the Tacoma.

Factory tires and rims, but I always get over 21 mpg and mine is 2013 sport 4x4. I commute 85 miles a day...all highway. If I put the cruise on 65 instead of 70 I can hit 22.
