They recently changed that law so that you MUST get it verified at a state facility. Used to be a Sheriff Deputy or similar could do this so I always got my VIN verifications for free. Now they require a full VIN inspection for out-of-state vehicles so your options are pretty much set.

BTW, I'm married so you can't have me. Just wanted to let you down easy. I think I know a guy with a new set of air bags that's craving some attention from ANY human that would be putty in your hands though. :D

Oh, I'm aware. Just trying to blow past that reference.

    Topic change...

I forgot to post my Day 8 update so here's that along with the update for today:

Day 8 since breaking the juice fast check-in:

    Starting Weight: 290.8
    Current Weight: 267.8
    Previous Weight: 268.8
    Lost since yesterday: 1.0
    Total Weight lost: 23.0
    Most Weight lost: 23.4
    Lowest Weight: 267.4
    Gained since fast: 0.4

Day 9 since breaking the juice fast check-in:

    Starting Weight: 290.8
    Current Weight: 267.6
    Previous Weight: 267.8
    Lost since yesterday: 0.2
    Total Weight lost: 23.2
    Most Weight lost: 23.4
    Lowest Weight: 267.4
    Gained since fast: 0.2

As you can see I'm VERY close to getting back to the lowest weight I was at when I quit the juice fast. My gains today weren't the best but I know why. I had an open house to go do yesterday afternoon and I had a couple of beers & a burger patty & piece of bacon. This was in addition to my lunch & dinner which were both a fraction of what I would have normally eaten prior tot he juice fast but even though I did a couple hours of exercise yesterday morning (mowing a couple yards) it still didn't offset the crappy eating. I knew this was likely what was going to happen but it's going to happen from time to time. Just glad I didn't gain anything and I'm hoping to be down again tomorrow. Who knows, I might wake up to being the lowest weight than I've been in years if I lose 0.3lbs or more.

Got your PM. I'll check tomorrow what we have and let you know.

Yep the shocks aren't rebuildable but you can just swap the shocks out with some new ones. The 5100's are about $220 IIRC.

I thought i recognized your truck! I thought i remembered it having a topper on it so wasn't sure that was you. Either way, good to see ya on the trail even if we didn't know it was us :D

BTW. For a stock Taco, you did pretty awesome on that trail. I wheeled MSV/Coney with a lifted and F+R locked 80 and you did it cleaner then him.

Good to know. Now can I put 650# springs on it too to handle my ARB and winch a bit better.
