it highly depends on where you live. As the crow flies, I lived about a mile from the intercoastal waterway, and less than 3 miles from the beach. Lived like that for 5 years, and the salt caused worse rust issues than the salty winter roads that everyone complains about up north. I'm from Virginia originally, where they salt the roads for even a dusting of snow, so i have the first hand experience to make that comparison. about 5 miles from the beach you won't get much salt in the air or spray during windy days, and abotu 10 miles from the beach, it's not really an issue anymore.

just keep paint on everything and you'll be fine.

I may or may not have sliders by then but id love to come out and meet everyone and hang and whatnot!

 

You are more than welcome to come without sliders... As long as you have some lift and tires you can get around most of the pit , without sliders
Never the less always room in my truck for one more passenger

Nothing personal , but you make me nervous in A-pit

 

Def have lift and tires and even skid plated, sliders still being built though, the 24th works for me though!

 

Ok then if you or anyone else has an extra seat I can park and ride along oh and I finally caught something down in A-pit

 

Apparently your using too small of bait, bigger bait = bigger bite

 

I've tried a bunch of different things and the only one that's worked so far was a number 6 hook and a night crawler

 

Try minnows, small shiners

 

So I'm still good for the 24th
But have plans that afternoon. ...so lets make this an early day meet ..like 8-1ish

 

I might still come I'm looking at picking up a trail truck in about a week or two

 

I'm looking at trading my Yamaha blaster ATV for a jeep, to beat on or resell , not sure yet

I believe my guest with the jeep will be flying solo, so he should have an empty seat for this meet

 

I'm still good for 24th...
