So I'm thinking of doing my cab cage out of DOM and my engine and bed cages out of seamed pipe since its way cheaper. Thoughts?
For me, DOM is $5.30/ft and pipe is $2.50/ft

Up to you bro...personally I'd just stock up on pipe until I could do it all in DOM. doing half and half like that sounds like you'll be fine when you engine/bed cage fails lol, but the truck won't be.

so i finished installing this kit http://www.chaosfab.com/PDF/install/92200.pdf
and im getting a lot of positive camber, probably 3* worth at ride height. to compensate, i spaced out the uca so that it was shifted in, towards the engine and away from the tire, in order to bring the tire towards negative camber. I spaced it approx 1/16 of an inch, and it helped, but not all the way. the lca heim is set so that it fits into the subframe when the lower is seated and bolted in its bushing, so i dont know if i could push the lower out and bring the tire in. how do i go about adjusting camber on this kit?

The way you did is correct, but use washers and also drill out the threads for the 2 bolts that hold the dogbone and run 1/2" bolts with stover nuts. If you use washers they won't fall out if it comes loose

Pipe is meant for plumbing, it has no purpose on a truck

Been back for about a week now and have started spinning wrenches on the truck. Here are some of the things that have have been completed or are in progress:

Here are some comparison pictures for the light bars that I purchased through the OKLEDlightbars group buy here on TW.

First picture is factory low beams:

    8E72307D-73EE-43B9-B015-3F261F1FF452-349_f086fa464fb21327be80733f00115b949e30d74b.jpg

    Factory high beams:

20'' Combo beam LED light bar on bumper:

50'' Combo beam LED light bar on roof + the 20'' on the bumper:

The mounts on the bumper are steel tabs and work great. The roof mounts I cut and bent out of aluminum. I am replacing them with steel due to the flex in the aluminum.

    Switches...

Still have a back up light switch to add to the bottom row and an air compressor to add to the top row (in place of factory fog light switch). Will eventually replace the inverter switch with a matching ottratw switch.

ABS disable mod was a bitch... but finally got it work. Ended up wiring the SPST throw switch to a SPDT relay in order to get things in the right order. For folks wanting to do this to trucks without a locker of vsc, order an SPDT switch and use TW user Landphil's thread for a how to.

Finally getting used again, wife is happy.

Still need to add the tubing to the front bumper to protect the LED light bar, rebuild the front end, replacing coil springs, build bed cage, install defined LT, install bumpstops, and build RTT rack.
