If you dropped the victim/attitude geared writing in all your posts people would probably be more inclined to hear you out and not focus on your anger towards the subject as the cause of your problem.

In the case of my first one, during follow up visits i didnt like the doctor i saw the second time and requested not be seen by him any longer after getting in an argument with him which i dont much feel like discussing. Showed up for a follow up visit and asked why he was coming in, my appointment was supposed to be with a different doctor. So he then clears me to drive when he likely wasnt supposed to, NO ANTI SEIZURE MEDICATION AT ALL, and sure enough because i wasnt properly treated, seizure #2, and no job now because seizure #2 was caught on security camera, #1 wasnt.

Assuming the OP works in the Denver Metro area (which he likely does, aint much happening in conifer my old job i worked with a guy who commuted from there) .... NO PUBLIC TRANSIT .... i may be wrong but if there actually is any, it runs maybe every 2 hrs and likely not after 8pm.

So to be blunt, if you havent experienced a seizure which for my two were the worst experiences of my life, dont comment. Furthermore since the both of us are on anti seizure medication, drunk drivers and the elderly are way more likely to hit something or cause an accident than either one of us are.

The problem lies in the fact that in the way you told your story is that the nurse just started "out of nowhere" started being pissy and telling you that you need drug rehab and anger management. People just don't come out and say that stuff without something occurring beforehand to cause such a response. Something in the story is missing.

    Exhibit A
    Why is that?

Ok, but you are on ONE medication. He is on a bunch for anti-rejection, plus the seizure meds. Don't remember the exact number, but seemed like a lot. Maybe that had something to do with it.

EEG was clean, None of my transplant meds can affect driving, They only ask that you wait 8 weeks after surgery to drive and also be narcotic free.

I am at both of those requirements, Now i have no license because of this RNs vendetta against me. I didnt yell at her i respectfully told her i dont want to go to any programs. She left with "i feel really sorry for you, like your just sad" Really professional words.

I didnt have a chance to fight this, To discuss this or to even be made aware of it. Thats what is the worst thing... I just randomly had my license revoked.

this shouldve been made clear in the op

you came across as angry and vindictive...but were mad at her for being that as well

if what THIS post says is true...there are far better ways of handling this than telling her off again

go see your primary care FIRST...then if he cant help...speak to her bosses

I don't see where there is a set criteria for "are" or "are not" supposed to take a license. Medical staff may make recommendations and a state administrator has to take acton on it.
There is also a 30 day window to appeal....so if ToyComa thinks he was given a raw deal, he needs to do that.

based upon my research because i was very paranoid and scared when i had seizure #2 and thought i was going to lose my license, in colorado if you got nothing on your eeg, got anti seizure meds, your doctor is supposed to reccomend you dont drive for a WEEK OR SO to see IF THE MEDICATION is gonna mess you up, then youre good. He completely was given a raw deal in my opinion

and that is why the appeal process is in place, but we DONT know what the Drs see and only what Jon is telling us

telling the nurse off again will not help his situation, and neither will having a bad attitude...but going about this the PROPER way will eliminate the chances of him having gotten a raw deal, and will either let him have his license back OR explain to him exactly why he cannot have it

decided to do a little more research, colorado does NOT have a "physician required to report" law on seizures. So i believe that she was proactive and went after him based on whatever the hell she so happened to not like about him purely to screw him over

Edit .... when i decided to look at more states just to see how the laws work ... if the OP woulda happened to live in kansas, this thread wouldnt even been up because they got an exemption if the medications are failed

i never advocated him telling off the nurse or any of his ideas, but i never commented on those ideas, because i straight up told off the follow up doctor i saw after my first seizure cause he was full of shit. Onto other news, more proof of what i said earlier.

so to go back to earlier if his EEG was good, she or anybody else who saw him over there had no right to get his lisence jacked

Look, My primary is in a different hospital, National Jewish She wont be in until around august 7th and doesnt have clinic until mondays...

I will see my transplant doctor and RN coordinator( Could be one of four ) just depends on who is on that week, I saw Krista this week... So next week could be her or kim.

This is the long story short.
Had a bad reaction to a Anti-Rejection med (Neoral)
Seizures were one of the symtoms of the reaction
That med was switched and i now take (Prograf)
While i was being seen for the seizures they did a FULL EEG
They also put a camera over me for two days and monitored my brain.
Everything came out clear and was released.
Doctor said it looks like your just sensitive to some meds and that the Neoral caused the seizures. She also said that she thinks nothing else could cause it but new meds.
I am on a normal pill regimen and have no new meds.
I did not Disrespect this RN (Katie) in the first place but she took it negatively and left with some pretty mean words.
now that was july 14th. I got the letter on july 26th and the letter stated it was put into action on july 17th. I went almost two weeks driving and not knowing i was revoked.

I COULD HAVE LOST MY TRUCK!!!!

I had my license suspended for a medical reason for 4 months. It sucked, and I thought I could still drive fine, but There was nothing for it but to wait and ask the doctor about it. If you really think it was out of line to have it taken, call and have a sit down with the doc. Even if you have to wait, there is not alot you can do about it other than be as open as you can about how much you want to be driving again. To get mine back I had to do tests and have a doc sign off on it. Its kind of the only way out from here. Sucks but good luck man. Civility and communication goes along way with institutional issues like this.
