    Because your power steering reservoir also supplies the transmission. Notice you don't have a dip stick for your tranny. That's why.

    Never mind.

    This is NOT the same setup I had on the Isuzu. Instead Toyota has a "sealed" transmission which requires a dealer check and flush at the 100k maintenance interval.

    I just grabbed the pic off the internet - not my picture. Though admittedly you may occasionally find stains around the edges of my toenails, that's just 'cause I love my kid, it makes her super happy when daddy lets her paint his toenails and that stuff's near impossible to get out of the cracks. I make no apologies for it. :)
