2013 NCAA Football Thread

I'll be optimistic and say MSU goes 9-3. Losing to Bama, USC, and LSU. Close wins over A&M, Ole Miss, Ok State, Bowling Green, and Aub. Big wins over Ark, Troy, Kentucky, Alcorn. Realistically, A&M, OK State, and Ole Miss could go either way, but I'm expecting a lot out of our revamped defense and a 5th year senior QB and returning 1000 yard rusher with 4 solid back ups.

 

Clemson and FSU will b a good game.

 

I don't think it'll be a sophomore slump, I just think the D coords had a whole offseason to watch film and figure him out. He definitely won't have the season he had last year.

I can't freakin wait for game 1. The first 2 weeks will determine our season, startin out with you guys and the cocks.

Either way, Bama will have more than enough offense to score points all over A&M's inexperienced defense. I expect the Aggies to be whipped by at least two touchdowns.

jbmccul, what would you expect out of MSU this year?

 

I can tell you that Carolina, A&M, and Bama back to back to back is gonna be rough on the players so you'll probably drop 2 of the 3, and a loss to either Auburn/OSU or LSU. And no matter what the rankings say, it's always a toss up when it comes to the Egg Bowl.

I'd say 9-3 or 8-4

 

Doesn't sound terrible to me. I just hope we don't lose by double digit in any of those losses.

 

The only person I see you loosing in double digits too would be Bama, but that's true for any team

 

I'm hoping we can keep it close with the game being in Starkvegas, but with that good of an offense returning and with their defense always being that good, I doubt we can keep up. By that point in the season, everyone should know if we'll be relevant or not.

Thanks! That's what my sister, who just graduated from Bama, and various friends at A&M keep telling me.

One thing I want to try to do throughout my college career is to visit every SEC west stadium. I've been to several games in Bryant-Denny and went to the Egg Bowl at Ole Miss this past year. That'll give me 4 years to go to Aub, Death Valley, A&M, and Ark. How many away games have you been to?

 

Just Ole Miss, my aunt is a professor there.
