Saw a lot of Tacomas on the way to Tahoe yesterday. Saw a black with all pro rear bumper, a few lifted silver and some first gens with arb front bumpers.

Saw a white 2nd Gen with black wheels and relentless front bumper parked along Hwy 89 towards the end of the Truckee River rafting. Anyone's?

I'm planning on heading up to the hope valley area in August for a week, we plan on at least starting our trip at blue lakes and explore out from there. we've stayed at sorensons before but haven't camped or really explored, anyone have any suggestions on hikes, 4x4 trails, canoeing spots, non campground camping spots, fishing, or...?

Right next to Sorenson's is a sweet little spot if you want to be near the road.

Maybe Leavitt Lake? It's off of 108.

So I just noticed that this is first post I've seen of yours that doesn't have the first letter of each word capitalized...

But it looks like you're right back at it :)

PS: not ball busting or anything, just find it interesting. Like you have a happy trigger finger on the shift key!

Map link in my old post here is one possibility for a little view of Hope Valley from above:

As far as hiking, tons of lakes to hike to up/over Carson Pass. Frog/Winnemucca Lakes are easy. Also Lake Margaret hike which has a parking lot just east of Caples Lake (about 5 minutes from Carson Pass).
