    Hey guys,

I just happen to run into this thread, a buddy and myself will be venturing up to the Pine Creek Gorge this weekend, and since we're not from around there I was hoping you guys could point me to the baddest trails, camp spots, fish spots, 4x4 trails, etc... Any info would help! I'm meeting my buddy whose driving down from Vermont. We were thinking about meeting at Colton Point state park or Leonard Harrison State Park. Is one better than the other for back country camping/hiking?

Also, I see a lot of forest service roads up there, IE owassie forest rd. Are these roads open to the public? If so, which is the best one to take since I'm on limited time...

    a

I just got back from this area, went camping at Colton Point State Park. Pretty nice campgrounds, out of 30 something sites there were only 2 others taken. No reservations needed, and cheap. Checked out the forest service roads around there, they're pretty nice. Just gravel roads with mud puddles.

    Hope this helps!
