There's potential yeah, I've got about an inch of clearance. We made the rack 2 inches higher than the cab, but it has a gentle rise in it that I didn't account for. So we'll see haha. I don't foresee it being a huge issue. I can always slug the corners and add height that way if need be.

Got the tent all prepped tonight, gonna take the rack out this week and paint it so I can put the tent up there sooner rather than later.

Haha not once I put the ORI's on. They act as their own sway bar.

No. It'll still be tippy. Your COG is way up there especially after the 36s haha ORIs will help on road. Nothing can help offroad

Oh no I'm only going with 34's. tents only 200 pounds too. I know I changed the COG but I don't think it'll be all that drastic. Time will tell though haha. Worst case scenario, that rack is rated for roll cages and is all tied to the frame so I'd probably be alright.

Trust me. From experience. Totally changes how the rig behaves. Every inch up makes a big difference.

    And good!

Kill the tent tho  haha

Hell no! You just have to be more aware if it and watch yourself. Making a wider stance is helpful. Hence justifying my real wide stance.

Yea..I did. And I didn't have a RTT then. Just the bed/roof rack combo. I do think it helped contribute to it though. It was my first time driving with it.

    Yours is realllllyyy up there.

So in short. Learn the rig slowly with that monster tent up that high.

Totally, it's a good caution, one that I probably would've employed naturally, but always good to have checks in place. Only reason I didn't go with a lower platform is I think they're lame haha. Lose visibility, lose the use of the annex, there just wasn't enough good reasons to go lower.....other than potentially flipping the vehicle haha:p

I didn't realize that was your maiden voyage with all that stuff on there  crazy.

Yea. Finished the rack and installed Monday night. Rolled it that Friday haha

And I can still use the annex. Visibility is for chumps :p haha jk. But I have plans for a rear camera so that's no biggy.

I'm gonna need to redo my rear camera anyhow when the bumper gets here, so I'm already losing some that way. And yeah you can still 'use' the annex, but I can fully stand up and walk around at 6 feet tall and not feel crammed in there. In this case, I chose comfort. Mostly because it encourages Amanda to come out with me.
