    Toyota is contracted with both companies to uses Denso on one side and NKG on the other. No other reason.

    A few hours each, both top and bottom plenum. The casting in my old one is not as bad as the one I just polished and put in so maybe less time. I'll starting cleaning it up this week.

    Did a visual inspection... everythings connected. All vaccum lines good to go. Said fuck it and pulled the plugs to check gaps. All at .041 as I double checked them before putting them in.... except this shit! WTF

    Hard to see but the solder/weld on the plug electrode is cracked. Replaced it with a new one and good to go!

    No they dont. IIRC, the 1st gens only need dual plugs for longetivity. They spark every other stroke (combustion and exhaust) so instead of replacing single electrode plugs every 15k miles, they use dual electrode plugs to last 30k :notsure:.

    If you are heading north on the trail its the first campsite on the right after you go through the big center campground near slip rock. And sorry I meant last friday (7/19)
    I've been wanting to try out some other trails up that way, though my taco is probably going to stay stock until next year. Potts mountain looks pretty intense! Any other trails you would recommend for a stock truck? Also, your truck is awesome! Would love to check it out in person some time.
