I'm right at 20k miles. Haven't even had it a full year :anonymous: I guess a few trips back to WI to visit family and lots of exploring will rack em up...

Yea the URD rotrex setup would be pert dreamy!

Tor you gonna start selling manifolds and turbo kits once you're dialed in :D ???

I am less than 100 miles away from 25K after my trip this weekend. Turbo kits would be sweet, but I want the instant boost of the S/C. It's hard to get lots of quick power out of a turbo (at least off the line since it has to spool up) unless you start running some twin turbo setups or some of those S/C Turbo combined chargers, but at that point you are talking even more moolah! If you need more power just run a bigger S/C. haha Granted if you aren't looking for a lot more power a turbo is more efficient and can better counter the power loss due to high elevations.

How long til you have your motor now Tor?

And since this is Sconnie's thread... What is next on your mod list?:D

I didn't have to re-route mine luckily-ish haha. Rocks beat mine into submission... haha So much so it is now higher than the crossmember.

Are you going to put the winch in the front bumper or run it on a hitch receiver cradle?

I like the idea of being able to pull my ass out backwards but the winch will probably go in the plate bumper which will either be CBI or Pelfrey :D Probly the latter.

Ya the skids i ordered are from Tyler at Pelfreybilt, he's sending me a flat T-case skid, which will get me to stop dragging my feet on the re-route...

and dang, you got any leaks in that pipe? I know it's double walled but that's really smashed up there!

    Awesome Rig!
Have you thought about getting a winch that hooks into a reciever hitch? Saves weight up front and can be used on the back

I asked you above because that is my plan. Winch is a long ways out though...

This guy that I wheel with occasionally (he's on 40's now...) is going to put hitch recievers on the sides as well so he can winch in all 4 directions! Seems a little overkill to me though...

Not sure how links will hold up (if he plans going that route) but yeah I have seen people break leaf springs and other stuff trying to winch a vehicle sideways... bad idea...

    Like this:

Bulhas snapped both of his rear leafs at the same time and I seem to recall it was from trying to winch sideways, but couldn't find him saying so.
