What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

haha we all have been there one way or another. It's what is holding the exhaust on my pit bike.

 

I got them from the dealership, I think $14 for all 9 bolts.

 

I need new bolts too, lost a couple along the way and stripped one the other day. All the crud that builds up in the threads eats them over time.

 

That's not bad at all. Might as well do that then.

 

Zip ties are holding my grille to the truck lol

 

They are holding my HID ballasts.

 

If that doesn't turn the DOT's shorts a couple shades of brown, nothing will.

 

Update on the cargo bag:

I called Discount Ramps.com (the place I bought it from) and sent them a picture of the zipper issue.

The awesome cust. service rep told me she will warranty the item with the manufacturer, send me a new one today and told me to keep the old one and see if I can upgrade the zipper with the local mountain mend dude.

No hassles with returning the item. No having to pay for return shipping, etc.

Awesome customer service. Will definitely make future purchases with Discount Ramps.com

Stick something into the right fender and give the starter a little whack.

I thought my battery clamps were getting too corroded but turns out it was my starter. I kept a piece of wood and a hammer with me until it was fixed. If it didn't start I'd just whack it and it would work LOL

 

Do you have their $1 tow thing? Saved us a few times.

 

If starter is gone, it will clickclickclick

If fuel pump is gone, it will light everything up but nothing will happen when you turn the key

If battery is done, nothing will light up and it wont turn over

 

If the solenoid in the starter is done it won't click at all.

 

I really like that bad lands bumper. I think thats what ill get when its time to do a rear bumper. how much was it?

 

When I was having fuel pump n wiring issue the truck would try to turn over it just wouldn't that's when I punched the cab below my push out window

 

Did you at least try hitting it? For serious.
