piston is definitely not cheap, and IMO, not worth it.
I did forget that it's a 223 wylde chambering, not 556, so that may have been a factor to, the gun functioned fine whiteout shooting it, i may put the upper on dads lower, and see is the different buffer weight is the key.
the only other answer that i see is being under gassed.

It's absolutely legal to purchase finish and build a personal firearm. Without having to register it, I have built 2 from that company, did the final machine on the receiver, one .223 other .308, if you can prove that you built it and have documentation.

Just dont sell it.

Yeah, but reliability depends on how close the 5.56 is to spec, I was gonna shoot some 223 through it but I never had the time.



where could i get a drivers seat for my truck? it's the gray/black color, and it's the bench seat.

You would buy the 80% lower, then you would take that to a machine shop. They would mount the lower, load the program and YOU would push the start button and it would CnC the remaining 20%, and since YOU pushed the button it was still technically legal. If I remember right the shop was down in the hillcrest area, and the gov figured that was abuse of the law.
