    Your profile says TRD wheels and BFG Rugged Trails (which I'm assuming is stock - nobody goes out of their way to buy Rugged Trails...). Why do you have rubbing to begin with?

    yes exactly a offset rim is like a normal rim with a spacer built in... anything that moves the center of the wheel farther out from the bearing will cause leverage and more stress

    I posted a thread on this before, and I don't see it causing any more problems that having wheels with a smaller backspacing. the wider the stance, the more stress you are going to put on those parts, simple as that, whether its spacers or wheels that stick out farther

    Exactly.

    As long as the spacers are not a type that increases the load on the studs (reduced thread engagement), the stresses on the bearings and control arms are identical.
