Hey guys, just wanted to stop in and ask some quick advice from the SD peeps. Me and my girl are driving down there tomorrow to spend the day and then we are gonna hit the zoo on Wednesday. Wondering of anyone had some suggestions on thins to do while we are free tomorrow afternoon/evening? Thought about hitting downtown, maybe grabbing a drink or two. Suggestions? Oh and we also haven't booked a hotel yet... Just gonna kinda wing it and book something during the drive there. Wanted to stay somewhere in the $100-120/night range if anyone has some recommendations for that as well. Thanks in advance!

    Not enough
Try Monkey Paw bar right off the 94 West freeway, crazy huge selection of local beers on tap and their cheeseburger sliders are devine! Or if you wanna enjoy some good music try down the street off of Broadway called El Dorado, gets packed on weekends. For free stuff to do, theres Seaport Village to lazily walk around in odd end shops, or Balboa Park is nice too. Same kinda thing down at Ocean beach but you can go walkin on the pier out there and then come back and grab the most delicious burger you'll ever have at Hodads then pop in Gallaghers for a beer

You just need the jig, it can be done without a CNC machine. Shoot I have even know a person who weld back together a demilled AK-47 from Iraq, works fine from what he told me. I just tig welded some of the parts and he did the rest. However he modified it to not have full auto capability as well for Ca rules

Awww how cute a sub compact. :)

For me everything east of Esco is east county.. ;)

Headin down to Bahia de Los Angeles to do some fishing. Anything on the way down there you think I ought to know? Been there before like 18 years ago but things change. Thanks

    Hi Tyler,

There is so much to see and do in central Baja (near Bahia de los Angeles)...

    South of town:
Las Flores, San Juan Mine Railroad, Mystery Walls (lost mission?) at Las Animas.

    North of town:
La Gringa, El Toro Copper Mine, Guadalupe (Remedios) Bay, Los Candeleros.

    West of town:
Montevideo Pictographs (Painted Cliff), Mission San Borja, Las Tinajitas pictographs... just so much to see!

Just north of Cataviña is a colorful painted cave just off the highway, as well.

All of these sites are photographed on my web site www.vivabaja.com but in many different trip pages. I do have an easy to find index/ link page to photos I have: http://vivabaja.com/tours and scroll to the Bahia de los Angeles section.

I have more details, maps, GPS, whatever you need to have a Baja adventure... just let me know!

    Photo tease...

Hey guys, quick question...any tips on what to put in the giant hole that is my air intake right now? I've got the TRD CAI in there right now...so I don't have the upturned scoop anymore...I can literally reach in and pet my filter right now lol. I was thinking either mounting some cheesecloth over it, OR, finding a 90 degree pipe that will fit in the hole and mounting it straight up to mimic the stock box...Or both...

    Any ideas?
